At XSS Hotels, we concentrate on developing dynamic, high quality lodging with strong brand recognition. We are a vertically integrated hotel development company with expertise in site selection, permitting, project design, interior design, procurement, and project management.

Together with our management company affiliate and our construction affiliate, XSS Hotels has brought to life over 3,000 keys throughout the Northeast.

The XSS Hotels portfolio serves the full-service, boutique, upscale extended-stay, select service and upper midscale hotel segments that are licensed with Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide and Intercontinental Hotel Group.

Leadership Team

Leo Xarras, Partner, is a hospitality industry veteran with more than 30 years of diverse hotel management and development experience in both the United States and the Caribbean. In addition to his development leadership, Xarras brings a wealth of design, interior design, purchasing and eCommerce experience to the XSS Team. Xarras also serves as Chairman and CEO of our management company affiliate, directly overseeing the management of the lodging portfolio.

Eben Tormey, Partner, has over two decades of real estate and construction experience with a focus on developing, owning, and managing hotels. Eben has been part of the XSS Hotels team since 2010 and now serves as Partner overseeing permitting, design, construction, and opening of over 20 hotels including the AC Hotel Downtown Portsmouth.

John Stebbins, Partner, has worked for over a decade as a Senior Project Manager and now Partner of XSS Hotels. He has been responsible for permitting, designing, constructing and opening over 20 hotels, including the award-winning The Row Hotel at Assembly Row, a Marriott Autograph Collection Property in Somerville, MA. John also serves as Managing Director and Owner of PROCON, New Hampshire’s largest General Contractor and a fully-integrated architecture, engineering and construction management firm. He currently serves on the board of directors at the Manchester Boys and Girls Club.

Jen Stebbins Thomas, Partner, has managed XSS Hotels financial and legal departments for over a decade and now serves as a Partner at XSS Hotels. In the last 10 years, Jen has been responsible for financing over $1B of hospitality lending projects and currently manages the portfolio of $675M+ in loans. Jen also serves as Managing Director and Owner of PROCON, alongside John. She currently serves on the board of directors at Waypoint, a child and family focused non-profit in New Hampshire.

Christine Thomas, Partner, directs XSS Hotels’ project acquisition, branding and collateral mixed-use development activity. Thomas has more than 25 years of experience in lodging site selection, development and operations and is focused on community partnership lodging. She is also a partner in SXC Hotels, LLC.
